Reflective Glass is on-line coated float glass. It is designed to meet the twin requirements of architects, the functional and the aesthetic. It is produced using CVD technology (chemical vapor deposition) that creates a perfectly uniform layer of metal oxide chemically bonded to the surface of the glass. The coating imparts a "mirror-like" facade to the Reflective Glass, giving it visual appeal while providing functional benefits like solar control and glare reduction. As this hard chemical layer is fully banded to the glass, the glass can be cut, bent, tempered, heat strengthened and laminated without affecting the coating.
Good optical performance
Good chemical stability, acid and alkali resistance
Film is chemically formed at high temperature with high wear ability
High color uniformity, gentle and elegant
Can be toughened and thermally curved.
Advantages
Reflective glass, also known as one-way glass or mirrored glass, has several advantages. It reduces heat gain and glare from sunlight, which in turn lowers energy costs for cooling and reduces eye strain. It also provides privacy during the day while maintaining visibility from inside. Reflective glass can be used in a variety of settings such as offices, homes, and cars, making it a versatile and popular choice.
Benefits
Reflective glass has numerous benefits. It reduces solar heat gain and glare, improving energy efficiency and creating a comfortable indoor environment. It also provides privacy during the day without compromising natural light. Reflective glass is durable, easy to clean, and resistant to fading. It can enhance the aesthetic appeal of a building while serving functional purposes. Overall, reflective glass is a cost-effective and practical choice for many applications.
Applications
Reflective glass solutions are used to combat the rising rate of energy consumption – as it blocks the solar heat and glare from entering inside. Several architectural designs are used as green, sustainable elements for their high performance against heat ingress and delectable visual appeal.
Here are some typical applications of reflective glass:structual facade glazing, residential and commercial structures, brilliant for daylighting needs and facilitating indoor-outdoor living, skylights can increase interior heating after being exposed to the sun 24×7.
